Breaking Down the Atlanta Falcons 2025 Schedule: Win Total, Matchups & Must-Watch Games

Breaking news! The Atlanta Falcons' 2025–2026 NFL schedule is officially out—and we’ve got a lot to talk about. From primetime games to overseas battles, this season is shaping up to be full of drama, opportunity, and a whole lot of football. Let’s break it all down.

Preseason Warm-Ups

  • Detroit Lions

  • Tennessee Titans

  • Dallas Cowboys

Nothing too wild here—just a few tests to shake off the rust.

Week 1: vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

We’re opening with a divisional rivalry at home. We usually split with the Bucs, but I’m giving this one to the Falcons. It’s the home opener, and the energy will be real.

Week 2: @ Minnesota Vikings

Rookie QB JJ McCarthy? Yep, catch him early. I like this matchup for the Falcons. Advantage ATL.

Week 3: @ Carolina Panthers

This one could be a toss-up. Division games on the road are always tricky. Could be a trap.

Week 4: vs. Washington Commanders (Prime Time)

A sneaky tough matchup. Washington's defense is no joke. I’ve got this one marked as a potential loss.

Week 5: BYE WEEK

It’s early. Maybe too early. Not ideal, but you play the hand you're dealt.

The Gauntlet (Weeks 6–9):

  • Week 6: vs. Buffalo Bills (Monday Night Football)

  • Week 7: @ San Francisco 49ers (Sunday Night Football)

  • Week 8: vs. Miami Dolphins

  • Week 9: @ New England Patriots

This stretch is brutal. If the Falcons go 2–2 here, that’s a win. All four games are losable, but this stretch could be a proving ground.

Week 10: vs. Colts (IN GERMANY!)

Overseas games are always wild cards. Weather, travel, weird energy. It’s winnable, but who knows which team shows up.

Week 11: @ Carolina Panthers

Back from Germany + divisional road game = danger. If we lose one to Carolina, it’s this one.

Week 12: vs. New Orleans Saints

Let’s just say it—we’re sweeping the Saints this year. Book it.

Week 13: @ New York Jets

Justin Fields is dynamic, but the Falcons' revamped defense could give him fits. I’m calling this a W.

Week 14: vs. Seattle Seahawks

Sam Darnold comes to town. Closer game than people think, but still very winnable.

Week 15: @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

We usually split with Tampa. We took Week 1. This one’s probably theirs.

Week 16: @ Arizona Cardinals

Weird things always happen in Arizona. Be on upset alert here.

Week 17: vs. Los Angeles Rams (Monday Night Football)

Big-time game under the lights. I’m calling it a loss just because it’s late-season and could be a grind.

Week 18: vs. New Orleans Saints

Sweeping them. Again. Just making sure that’s clear.

Predicted Record: 11–6

Projected Losses:

  • Washington (Week 4)

  • Buffalo (Week 6)

  • Miami (Week 8)

  • Carolina (Week 11)

  • Tampa Bay (Week 15)

  • Rams (Week 17)

Everything else? The Falcons are either favored or in toss-up territory. If they win the games they’re supposed to and steal a couple on the road? 11–6 feels real.

Prime Time Spotlight

The Falcons have five primetime games this year—including Monday and Sunday Night Football matchups and their international game in Germany. That’s a glow-up from last season and shows how much hype this team is building.

Final Thoughts

Sure, some folks are calling this one of the “easier” schedules in the league—but don’t let that fool you. This schedule has landmines. That five-game stretch around the bye? Brutal. But overall? It’s a favorable setup.

The key is to start fast, survive the gauntlet, and close strong. If they do that, this could be a playoff season for real.

Let me know what you think—drop your record predictions in the comments. Who are you most excited to see the Falcons play? What’s your must-watch matchup?

And as always—Rise Up!
